Summer Scholars Program

The Querrey InQbation Lab Summer Scholars Program is a paid, 8-week, full-time summer fellowship that connects students with startups commercializing Northwestern research (see available opportunities below). Scholars receive a $4K stipend to support living expenses while gaining hands-on entrepreneurial experience. Over the course of the summer, participants take part in Lunch and Learns with startup CEOs and operators, and the program culminates in a Demo Day where Scholars present their summer projects.

Application Process

  1. Interested Northwestern undergraduate students should complete the online application by Sunday, February 15 at 5PM CT.  On the application, students will be asked to indicate top projects of interest and upload their cover letter and resume.  
  2. Selected candidates will be contacted by startup contacts beginning in late February through to the week of March 2nd to begin interview process.
  3. Participating startups have been asked to select final candidates by the week of March 9th. Candidates will have one week to accept offer.
