Congratulations to Sibel Health, a Northwestern spinout, on receiving EU MDR Class IIb certification for its ANNE® One platform and becoming the first wireless wearable patient monitoring system certified to the IEEE 11073 Service-Oriented Device Connectivity (SDC) interoperability standard.
This milestone brings the capabilities of traditional patient monitors into a wireless, wearable form factor, enabling continuous monitoring while improving patient comfort and mobility. The combination of Class IIb certification and standards-based interoperability represents an important step toward more connected, scalable healthcare delivery.
The achievement builds on growing international adoption, including Sibel's partnership with Dräger and selection by the Capital Region of Denmark to support deployment of ANNE® One-based solutions across Copenhagen-area hospitals.
